SCHOOL THROWBACK 6: Irreplaceable

I’m not very sure if we remained “best friends”, at least for me, but I must say, we were really never apart from each other.

We had the typical sleepovers, traveling from one place to another, sharing secrets, most especially food. We were food lovers, as well as, movie lovers. If there was a new film, Saturday would be reserved. It was very fun indeed. There were times when we decided to watch a series marathon or a Disney film, and it made our bond stronger. But, there was this one fight. I couldn’t remember in detail, but it was the ugliest fight we ever had.

It was the day before prom of third-year high school. Everything was planned out perfectly, although plans can change, right? It got to the point that since I wasn’t classmates with them, I had to transfer to another table because honestly, I didn’t want to be left out. But they got mad at the idea, and I understand why.

They were my “best friends”, why would I feel out of place? I know they got offended by the idea. The fight turned to a week then to almost a month. I said, sorry. Maybe one of the reasons why is because it is my fault, but the main reason – I think is…because I missed them during this time. I really missed them. Nothing can replace them, not even a fight.

High school best friends are forever. I think this is true. We may not have retained our communication, but I still consider them as my best friends. They are the best friends, no one can ever replace. I miss the memories, but I want to make more and new ones. Shoutout to my high school best friends, Mia, Mikha, and Erika – I miss you guys! I hope we can have a get-together soon. Let’s create our throwback!

Happy-go-lucky and loves editing- this can perfectly describe Louise. She might be quiet at first, but once you get to know her, she’s crazy- in a good way.
